Youth (5th - 12th)
Youth Ministry at Messiah is a major focus in our congregation. Our mission is to help youth come to know Jesus, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and show Jesus to the world.
Sunday School
During the school year we offer Sunday morning Bible classes for 5th - 6th grade, 7th - 12th grade.
Summer
During the summer youth have the chance to serve through volunteering at Vacation Bible School or by participating in one of our mission trips (when available). We attend Youth Quake and National Youth Gathering. We also offer a chance to attend Lutheran Valley Retreat.
Cool Kids (5th-6th Graders) & Jr LYF (7th-8th Graders)
Cool Kids meets monthly during the school year on a Sunday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for lunch, games, and devotions. Cool Kids and Jr LYF also have activities throughout the year.
Confirmation
We also offer Confirmation classes, held on Wednesday nights, where youth learn about their faith and the Bible through a 2 year program. Most youth begin Confirmation in 7th grade. For more information on our Confirmation program please contact Pastor Eddie Hosch.
LYF (9th-12th graders)
Highway 912 meets on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for dinner, game and Bible Study in the Youth House. We also have various on and off campus activities for high school students throughout the year including service projects and social outings.
